Voice changer
Add a voice recording, a WhatsApp voice message or a video, or record your voice with the microphone, choose an effect and listen to the result. The pitch of the voice changes while the speed of speech stays the same, and the robot, echo, hall and telephone effects are made in your browser. You save the result as MP3 or WAV. Both an added file and a microphone recording stay on your device, and nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Which effects can I choose?
Chipmunk raises the voice, deep voice and monster lower it, robot gives a metallic sound, alien wobbles, echo repeats words, hall adds the reverb of a large room, telephone sounds like a call, and reverse plays the recording from the end. With Custom you choose a pitch from 12 semitones lower to 12 higher.
Does the speed of speech change?
No. The pitch is changed by a method that keeps the length, so words last as long as in the original. Only echo and hall add a short tail at the end.
Can I change a WhatsApp voice message?
Yes. Voice messages are OGG files, which Chrome, Edge and Firefox open. Older versions of Safari do not open OGG, and the tool then says the sound cannot be opened.
Why does the voice sound unnatural?
A big change in pitch, more than five or six semitones, always sounds artificial, like in cartoons. For a more natural result, choose Custom and a smaller change.
Can I record my voice on the page?
Yes. Click Record voice, allow microphone access when the browser asks, speak and click Stop. The recording stays on your device and nothing is uploaded. If you refused access, allow it in the site settings of your browser or add a recording.
Is my recording private?
Yes. An added file and a microphone recording are processed in your browser and not sent to a server, and the result only exists until you close the page or download it.
