Word to PDF
The tool opens a DOCX document in your browser and lays it out with the same page size, margins, fonts, lists, tables, and images. Your browser's print engine then makes the PDF, so it holds real text that can be selected and searched. In the print window, choose Save as PDF. The document never leaves your device.

Frequently asked questions
Why does a print window open?
Your browser's print engine, the same one that prints web pages, makes the PDF. That gives the PDF real text, sharp fonts, and correct pages. Choose Save as PDF as the destination and turn off the browser's own headers and footers.
Will the PDF look the same as in Word?
For ordinary documents, yes: page size, margins, fonts, lists, tables, images, headers, and page numbers carry over. If your device lacks a Word font, a font with the same measurements is used, so a page break can shift by a line or two. Text boxes, floating images, and charts may move.
Does it work with .doc files?
No. Open an old .doc file in Word, LibreOffice, or Google Docs and save it as .docx.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. On Android in Chrome, choose Save as PDF as the printer. On an iPhone, tap the share icon in the print options and save the PDF to the Files app.
