EXIF viewer and remover

Phone photos often carry hidden data: the phone model, date and time, camera settings, and sometimes the exact GPS location. The tool shows it as soon as you add the image. Before posting or sending to strangers, remove it, and for JPG, PNG, and WebP this happens without recompressing.

Frequently asked questions

What stays after removal?

The image pixels, colour profile, and orientation stay, so the photo displays correctly. Camera, date, location, descriptions, and software data are removed.

Do social networks remove EXIF?

Most large networks strip the location when you post, but email, messaging apps sending files, and cloud storage often pass on the original. Removing the data yourself is safer.

What about HEIC photos?

HEIC is saved as a new JPG without metadata, with minimal quality loss.
