PDF to Word
The tool reads the text in a PDF, arranges it into paragraphs, and creates a DOCX document that opens in Word, LibreOffice, or Google Docs. Each page starts on a new page. If a page is a scanned image, turn on text recognition or add it as an image.

Frequently asked questions
Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
Text and paragraphs carry over, but columns, tables, fonts, and colours are not reproduced exactly. The tool is best when you need text to edit, not an identical copy of the layout.
What if the PDF is scanned?
A scanned page has no text, only an image. Turn on Recognise text on scanned pages and the tool reads the text from the image. Without that option the page is added as an image.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Reading and recognising text both run in your browser. Recognition downloads its language data from this site once.
