Frequently asked questions

What is a HEX code?

HEX is a six character colour code, such as #126A49, used by websites and design programs.

How accurate is the palette?

The main colours are calculated from a sample of pixels across the whole image, so they show the colours that cover the most area.

Why does CMYK differ from print?

CMYK here is a simple conversion. A print shop uses the colour profile of its press, so ask for a proof for exact colours.
