Frequently asked questions
How long can the GIF be?
Up to 15 seconds. GIF does not suit long clips because it grows large quickly.
Why does my video not open?
Your browser must support the video codec. MP4 with H.264 and WebM work everywhere. Some iPhone MOV clips use HEVC, which Chrome on Windows does not play.
How do I get a smaller GIF?
Lower the width to 320 to 480 pixels, the frame rate to 8 to 10, and the colours to 128.
