Add a watermark to photos

A watermark shows who took a photo and makes it harder to reuse without permission. Type a name or web address or add a logo, then choose the position and opacity. A watermark repeated across the image is hardest to remove, while a corner mark is less distracting.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a logo with a transparent background?

Yes. Add a PNG or SVG logo and its transparent parts stay transparent.

Which opacity works best?

Between 30 and 50 percent the mark is visible without covering the photo. For stronger protection, repeat it across the image.

Does the original change?

No. You get a new copy with the watermark, and the original stays on your device.
